UNE EN 1794-1 measures the mechanical stresses to which panels are subjected in their location. The deformations of a noise-reducing device under such loads during its design life should not reduce its effectiveness.

- Dead weight
- Impact of stones
- Safety in case of collision
- Dynamic loads caused by snow removal
When the values obtained in each of the above sections are in accordance with the standard, it is considered that the panel complies with the mechanical behaviour and sufficient stability to be installed in its site.
