Retroreflective sheeting should be stored indoors in a dry, well-ventilated place at a temperature of between 15º and 30ºC and at a relative humidity of between 30 and 60%.
It should not be directly exposed to sunlight.
No more than 4 cartons should ever be stacked one on top of the other, and very heavy objects which may crush the material should not be placed on top of the cartons. (Fig.1) |

Rolls that have been partially used should be rewound tightly on their original cores and taped along the whole length to prevent the sheeting from bending or stretching and to ensure that no damage is caused whilst in storage. Partially used rolls should also be stored horizontally in their original cartons with protective plastic end caps at both ends. (Fig.2) |
| Sheeting should be used within one year of its arrival in the storage facility, in order to ensure optimum stock rotation and avoid any damage being caused to the material whilst in storage. |
