| Metal parapets are road restraint systems specially designed for installation on bridges, grade level crossings and on the drop off edges of supporting walls.

Ministry of Public Works Highway Department Regulatory Circular 23/2008 "Recommendations Regarding Criteria Applicable to Metal Parapets on Roads" came into force on 31st July 2008.
All systems installed on new build roads as of 1st January 2011 must bear  marking. |

Metal parapets currently installed are, however, considered efficient and when necessary these may be repaired or replaced with elements or systems similar to those already being used. We believe that there will continue to exist market demand for replacement components for existing parapets for quite some time, and we therefore continue to include them in our catalogue. |
