The first system to be developed was the SCCM- system, which satisfied Severity Level II according to the criteria established in the UNE-135900 Standard. The Highway Department included it in the List attached to Memo 18bis/2008 regarding implementation criteria for motorcyclist protection systems.
The technical data and experience acquired from the use of this system in real situations allowed us to develop a new system, the AS-SM6.A- system, which satisfied Severity Level I according to the criteria established in UNE-135900.
Both systems are authorized to display the labels which guarantee compliance with standard
UNE EN-1317 and subjection to manufacturing control by an independent organism. The AS-SM6.A- system also holds the UNE-135900 Certificate of Compliance regarding performance in case of motorcyclist collision. |
